With so many five star parks in the area, this one deserves a sixth star. You can see how the park was once laid out as a formal park to go with the house. There are many different trees and the view changes as you walk through the park. The playground equipment is excellent and space has been left for children to run and explore. There are also new areas of beauty, such as the silent garden and there's really good cafe.

I spent a few hours exploring Gunnersbury Park recently, and it’s heartening to see how much life has been breathed back into the estate. While there are still a few minor bits and bobs that need attention, it has comfortably earned a four-star rating in my book for its sheer variety and historical depth. The centerpiece is, without doubt, the museum. The restoration of the mansion is stunning, and the exhibits manage to be educational without feeling dry—a rare feat. It’s a proper local treasure. The grounds themselves are vast, offering a fantastic mix of open pitches for sport and more secluded, leafy corners for those looking to escape the West London bustle. The only reason it isn't quite a full five stars is that a few areas still feel like a work in progress. Some of the ornamental features and outbuildings look a little neglected, and the signage could be a touch clearer if you’re trying to find your way to the more hidden spots. That said, the café serves a decent flat white and the staff are remarkably cheerful, even when the weekend rush hits. It’s a wonderful, atmospheric place to spend an afternoon. It feels less "manicured" than some of the central London parks, but that’s precisely where its character lies. Highly recommended for a family day out or a quiet Sunday wander.

Here for a race - but it's changed for the better! The park was looking good for 10k day and the sun shining did no harm. Not been here for ages and the cafe is now really smart. Sports Hub too whatever that is!

A beautiful park located in west London. I visit the park most weekends. It has lots of open space and beautiful gardens, pondes, museum, kids play ground and sport facilities .The new coffee shop will open in December but you can get coffee from mobile vans within the park. Summer time live concerts are hosted at the park. You can spend couple of hours and enjoy the beauty and the nature.
