Our favourite beach to visit. Can park right near the beach and pay by card. Toilets, cafe, bakery and lifeguards. No dogs allowed during summer months between 10am and 6pm. Great rock pools, clear water, stoney down to the beach which is great for sea glass hunting and shells. Walk 10 minutes up the hill and you're in town where there are lovely shops and restaurants

You forget England has beaches like this, water so clear it can rival any beach in the Mediterranean. Spent a few hours here, beach is manned by lifeguards and is sand shingle mix, lovely for dipping your toes. I parked for free on a street about five mins away but would imagine it gets busy in summer.

Kinda like winning the lottery and buying your own island only, you dint need to win the lottery or even buy a ticket... It's here already. Curious little garden along here too with many secret underground routes bricked up.

Visited last Wednesday, it was grey and cloudy. However its beauty and charm does not go any less! Perfect for long walk, afternoon/morning walk, dog walk, beach walk. A cafe is situated in-front of the beach. A great place to keep coming back for.

We went early in the morning and it was totally worth the trip. Watching the beach come alive was simply spectacular. The sand reminded me of the Caribbean. There is a garden next to the beach which allows for two sides of nature to be enjoyed in one visit. The residents were also very warm and welcoming.
