Never been here before was quite impressed with what they have here. There was an artisan market on which was quite good, we bought some goodies. They have a crazy golf which is only a pound each to play. It's has 18 holes which was quite good and passed some time. They also have an adventure golf aswell which is 18 holes and was very good, it cost about £19 for 2 adults and 2 children. There's plenty here to do, an adventure playground for the kids old and young, a food court with a coffee shop, pizzeria, a bar also a farm shop. There are woodland walks. We arrived about 12.30 and left about 5pm. Car park costs £4 if you stay over a hour and a half.
Lovely park, and great for children. If you're looking for something cheap, then this is a good contender. The area has a wonderful free playground, with sections for different age ranges. There is also a sandpit and wooded area too. It has a nice circular loop which the kids can cycle, round but unfortunately the train was out of action. The parking is quite expensive but I can look past this as it is a nice area. Obviously avoid the paid for attractions and ice cream vans to keep costs down 🤣
Lots of activities for children and adults; large areas of woodland and the nearby canal to explore. Adequate parking available at £3.50 for a stay over 90 minutes. Disappointed with the courtyard cafe which had limited availability of food choices at quite expensive prices. Unfortunately the hotel and spa appear to have been closed for some time.
We had a lovely day here. The park caters for all ages. There are 2 crazy golf's, my nearly 4 yr old grandson loved his first time playing this. The staff in the crazy golf were really friendly guy's and at only £1 per person, it's well worth visiting. We went to the cafe for lunch and the staff there are also very helpful and friendly. Only 2 highchairs available that we could see but we managed to beg one off a lady who's child had finished eating and also passed ours on after we finished with it. We also visited the small funfair. Tokens only and each token cost £2.50. Only thing I don't agree with is that the parent on the rides with small children have to pay a token too. We will definitely be going back there.
Was disappointed to find the miniature train was all blocked off for maintenance, had all year but choose the first week of the summer holidays to do it, so, thought we'd go and look at the hall...nope, not possible as that was enveloped in a huge white screen, ok, so we went to the cafe and was charged £10 for a baked potato!! Parking is not free and you are not allowed to use a blue badge... had a little play area for kids and mini golf and Go Ape, " ornamental " pond was more like black slime and full of lily pads, totally neglected, lots of space for kids but lots of dogs off lead, so be careful, take a picnic too to save yourself some money
