A really surprising and pleasant visit! The park is well cared for and beautifully laid out. I was so pleased the pavilion had a café which was open on Sunday. I think more should be done to draw people to these beautiful areas.

Fantastic find while we were on holiday. Loved the park and the various exciting play equipment. We only tried one of the three play areas and found lots to do. There was heavy wear on lots of areas and one piece closed due to damage. Looks like it's well loved in the area though. Some really exciting and unusual pieces of equipment. Looked like lots of pieces built with accessibility in mind, saw some kids riding scooters and ours could still get past, so imagine a child sized wheelchair could of got on some of the pieces.

I recently visited this park, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The moment you step in, you’re greeted by lush greenery and well-maintained pathways that invite you to explore. The landscaping is stunning, with vibrant flowers and shaded areas that make it perfect for a relaxing stroll or a quiet picnic. One of the highlights is the serene lake, where you can sit and enjoy the peaceful view or watch ducks glide across the water. There are plenty of benches and open spaces, making it ideal for families, joggers, and anyone looking to unwind. The park also offers clean facilities and a safe environment, which adds to the overall comfort. What impressed me most was the sense of calm and connection with nature, it’s a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Whether you’re looking for exercise, relaxation, or just a breath of fresh air, this park is a gem worth visiting.

Beautiful Victorian park with a canal running through the middle. Great walk and kids play area. There’s a lake where you can feed swans etc too.

Lovely park, parking always available on both car parks, and quite cheap (paid around £1.60 for 3 hours). Great for a nice walk with plenty to explore. Plenty of benches all around, and it’s kept really clean and well maintained. The only downsides are lack of toilets and no cafe.
