A scenic canalside playground in Harrison Park with activity boards featuring times tables and word searches, plus nearby cafes.

Set beside the Union Canal in Harrison Park, this playground combines play equipment with scenic surroundings ideal for extended family outings. The multi-play unit features a slide, climbing wall, fireman's pole, nets and frames, while educational activity boards offer times tables, mazes, and word searches. Springer rockers and swings for various ages round out the equipment. The fenced picnic zone keeps dogs out, and surrounding grass areas invite frisbee and ball games. Tea & Sympathy and Terrace Cafe are both within walking distance for refreshments. Best suited for toddlers and younger children up to age 8, though regular swings accommodate older kids. Watch for speeding cyclists on the canal path.

A lovely little park just outside the city center. Lots of room for families, wee dogs, having a picnic on a sunny day, great neighborhood, and a nice trail by the canal.

Beautiful park! Well maintained. Nestled in between some of Edinburgh's nicest neighborhoods. During the spring season, the daffodils and Cherry blossoms🌸are a treat to the eyes. A section of the park has a nice canopy of trees lining on both sides, a walk through this section is just amazing. The park is very close to the beautiful Union canal.

A very open park space with a children's playpark and benches. Some beautiful spring crocuses today. It borders the Union Canal so is a very pleasant place to wander or sit a while.

It's a beautiful soothing park, I could spend hours sitting by the bench having greeny views to my eyes while the breeze (when it's not dead freezing) gives me a walk down to memory lane. Loved it!
