What an amazing place my pictures do not do this place justice its huge!... free entry too (just make a donation 😀) staff are super friendly plenty of parking few people having picnics lovely views into valleys what more can you ask for.

Good ruined Abby that is run by English Heritage but is free to enter. Good sign boards describing the Abbey in its pomp. The Chapter house is in pretty good condition with carving of saints on the outside.

Haughton Abbey was much larger than I was expecting. My three year old enjoyed imaginative play. The parking was free and entry was on donations. Lots of information boards that provided a much better insight as to how the Abbey would have once been! No toilets. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
