Had a lovely walk from Coventry Canal basin to Hawksbury junction. Took 2 hours, very picturesque and scenical with a nice pub at the end that does excellent food and a great range of drinks.

Lovely and much appreciated by the locals as a place for daily walks along the canal. Peaceful and scenic and well maintained thanks to volunteers. A really nice part of Coventry. Only downside is the M6 motorway traffic can be heard in the distance.

Here, sure everyone came here as children. Used to have summer fetes. Today was cold, ice on canal. Taken the 20 minute walk to the longford Engine and back. Easy to park here. I brought my mum here last time for breakfast at the Greyhound, it was cold then.

Nice place for a sunny spring, you get the view of the canal, the boats. there is a path for a walk around the area. there are lots of B&Bs in the area and the boats can also be hired for short stay via airbnb website. would recommend to explore
