Rode around its various paths on bike, was the weekly run which i think falls on a saturday. Was a petting zoo, a cafe, and nice views, plenty of benches, beautiful views. Think they have a new ride there which goes through the trees

Had a lovely day at Heaton Park, saw the animals, walked around the lake. Had an ice-cream from one of the many vans,a picnic at some benches and went on they fair which was reasonably priced as the rides were only £2.50! Will definitely visit again

Heaton Park is one of Manchester’s best outdoor spaces, perfect for family days out, walks, picnics, and relaxing in nature. It is huge, well maintained, and offers plenty to do, from scenic trails and a boating lake to play areas and animal attractions. A great spot for all ages, though it can get quite busy during weekends and major events. Overall, a beautiful park with something for everyone. Also, there are spacious parking spaces available ( paid from 10am to 5pm and free afterwards)

As an animal lover, i would approve this Park as a place to interact with animals. The birds are so friendly!! The cows are so fluffy. Plenty of parking, long distance for joggers. They have playground too. Probably the best park i have ever visit in Manchester

As usual went by bus, didn't need to walk much to find the Park,just crossing the road. When enter the park noticed a lot of people running," Park run",it was finishing, looked at signs to see where I could go. For the size of this park , really good to have signs. Walked about 2 hours, around the lake, visited the animals farm, a very good variety of vegetation,lots of animals, noticed at least 3 toilets around, used one and was clean, didn't use the cafe, noticed as well and I think it's very important, recycling bins, a few around. Very good place to pass the day if weather permits. Suggest this Park.
