Came here today and its amazing! Got a little beach area which is fab, was so relaxing sat on the sand infront of the water. Lots of activities for children and has a cafe. Plenty of parking. The only downfall was the toilets, they stunk badly and was quite messy.
Had a great time here today. Got here for 10am and parked (£3.00). Two outdoor parks one free and one £3 for over 2s. Not quite sure why you need to pay for this park but anyway we did and the beach and water was great too. Says no paddling or inflatables but no one took notice.
Lovely local place. Not visited for a few years and brought back some lovely nostalgia. Friendly cafe staff and cheap food for the ducks and geese. Ice cream van was a nice little touch on a warm day
The newly refurbished park is great, its a shame they removed the outer fence, npt as secure as it once was for the kiddies. A fair bit of litter around the park, but overall much better than it was. Recommended.
Nice little water park. Free parking and loads of spaces (mid-week in winter helped but it was a glorious day). The paths could do with a bit more TLC as they were very muddy in several places. It was easier to walk on the grass around them but it is the time of year when puddles sit for ages. Very dog friendly.
