Great little park with plenty of different activities for all ages. Some unique items which I haven't seen in other parks too. Large grounds with a stream and lots of places to explore, such as a little bamboo forest. Large field too for any ball games, and cricket matches are frequently hosted. Across the road at the bottom, you'll find Scott's Pit, an historic local landmark with the old coal refinery still intact, and surrounded by horse fields.

Great green space and play area. There's also a little stream along the edge so be prepared for your kids to have a fantastic outdoor experience and get very muddy.

I wish there was more on offer for the variety of ages that play there even though the park has been recently updated I still feel it lacks in areas where there's more potential e.g. a garden walk more benches a younger child area. A gazibo for walkers wanting to hide from the rain. Street lights to prevent the crimes that keep happening. It's such a wide open space for so much potential but still stunning and unique its own right.

Lovely park, nice large field to take the dogs for a walk,but most importantly the play area for the children is great 👍🏻
