This place is really lovely, it’s got a great playground for toddlers and older children. There is a lovely pond with ducks, seagulls and swans, although you can’t feed them. There is a dirt bike trail and a skate park as well

I forgot how lovely this place is,it has on site cafe and toilets and walks that go for miles and a lake with wildlife for the kids,it is also in the vicinity of Penshaw monument which also has some lovely walks to explore,so its back to being a regular visitor for me give it a whirl and see for yourself.

A great place for dogs, kids and grown ups alike. A lovely play park and wild bird lake with lots of ducks etc. plenty of wide open grass for ball games and picnics. Skateboard park and an outdoor amphitheatre. There's a lovely cafe with outdoor seating where dogs welcome. In the warmer months there's a visiting ice-cream van and a train to ride on.

Great big park to spend a few hours wandering. Plenty of ducks, swans and cormorants here, especially around the model boating lake. There were lots of building works ongoing but this didn't detract from the place. Plenty of parking too and right next to walking distance for Penshaw monument.
