This is a lovely National Trust Site. These gardens are stunning. There’s so much to see and explore. The gardens are very well maintained. There is free parking on-site. I enjoyed seeing all the beautiful plants. We had a wonderful afternoon. I’d highly recommend it here.

Second visit, beautiful gardens even on a very wet day. There's something to see around every corner - statues, water, beautiful plants and little paths. Nice cafe doing decent food too. The plant and garden shop is gorgeous!

Wonderful garden! Spent two hours here on a sunny Sunday. Absolutely relaxing to walk the grounds. Very obviously lovingly preserved, a balance between carefully cultivated flowerbeds and wilder parts of the gardens. Would absolutely return.

Beautifully landscaped garden walked around with our dog. Cafe was welcoming and good parking with overflow. We went using the 2 for 1 gardeners world tickets. Dogs not allowed in old garden area but we took turns to go in but the rest of the garden dogs are allowed. Overall a good day out place to visit with a dog. There are electric charging points in car park which was good to know for next time.

Absolutely worth a visit. Free parking and entry for National Trust members. Lovely secondhand bookshop, cafe, giftshop. Old barn with dated machine in it. Art exhibition was interesting. Garden rooms....beautiful ! Every nook and part was asking us to pause and absorb it. Scent of those purple bluish flowers (dunno what they are called) esp in Maple Garden was like a healing to senses. Silent area was nice. Lots of lovely flowers and trickling water stream.
