Popular with doggy parents. Dogs often loose though if yours is reactive. We're always on a lead (well, Benson is) and he loves a sniff round. There's a lap through woodland with plenty of shade for sunnier days. Often find an ice cream van on one of the car parks too.

My grandchildren loved the freedom to run around and build camps in the woodland which had plenty of shade from the heat that day.

Highgate Common is a lovely relaxing place. Multiple carparks. Plenty of space to walk doggies. Only rated 4 stars because there are holes all over the place and I fell over one and hurt my knee and ankle. Besides that it is a really lovely place :)

Dog walkers paradise! Highgate is a great place to walk the dog but also for families in general. Very clean and well maintained good clear marked out footpaths if you're not used to the area. The car parks do tend to get busy during the afternoons and especially in the summer months. There is usually an ice cream van on the main car park when the weather is nice there are also public toilets located on the next car park up from the main car park.

Been going there for years since I was a kid now I take my kids, such a beautiful place to go on walks, dogs are welcome and things for the kids to do, mine love to just run, play and look for bugs. The ice cream van is usually there for the kids to have an ice cream, paid £5 for two ice creams today with my kids. You have to be careful with the ground has it’s uneven and there are nests underneath the ground that are bumpy but fun for kids to step on though. Fantastic place and parking is FREE. Well worth the visit though if you have never been, you won’t be disappointed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
