Great outdoor pool option, lovely communal space. Booking system online is fairly straightforward. Often gets booked up on sunny days understandably. Lots of life guards, who are very attentive, which is always positive to see. There's a lovely grassy space to sit on and even deck chairs. Overall a fantastic space to swim whether you just want a dip or want lane swimming.

Great pool! Friendly staff, clean and plentiful facilities for lane swimming in the evening and good vibes all round. I've seen a few reviews saying the pool is cold but it's a great temperature for a longer swim. I think the only thing that could improve lane swimming is more obvious signs that direct people who want a less lane-based swim to head for the middle section of the pool. At the moment, the signs for the lanes are a little hidden.

Great afternoon out at The Hinksey Pool! We booked 2hrs on one of the hottest days of the year so far! Madness in May! Brilliant for a young family and highly recommended on the hotel days to come! We'll be back for sure!

Pool is clean The place is a bit dated. Not very clean. Unfortunately, the toilets are very dirty. Used sanitary products left in the corners of the toilet not actually even in the bins provided. I don't understand why people have to act like pigs. If everyone put things properly on the bins provided and didn't just discard rubbish on the floor it would make the whole place cleaner and looked after. It is not fair to leave used sanitary products on the floors for someone else to pick up. Have some self respect and tidy up after yourselves.

A very tranquil and picturesque outdoor pool. The water is heated to a very toasty temperature (around 28° I'd say). The pool is an unusual shape - like a figure 8, with a deep/laned in one half of the 8, and a shallow pool for little ones in the other. The pool has been updated over the years but it's nice to see one of the old fountains (now being used as a giant planter) and the retro outdoor changing cubicles. At £5.70 a swim session (around 50 minutes) was good value. No lockers on site. Showers were warm, toilets were clean, as was the pool (even with the ducks swimming in it between sessions). The attendants/ lifeguards are quite strict on session start and end times - not a problem for lane swimmers, but I dread to imagine the fallout of the end of session whistle for family sessions!
