We visit Hoghton Tower quite regularly both to visit the gardens and for their events. Most recently we attended the medieval revival and took part in an introductory graffiti tour and the full dungeon tour. The staff who conduct the trial and punishment performance are absolutely outstanding and should have their own stage! The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the buildings and cafe and lovely. I always recommend people to visit here and I recommend their events.

We visited for the Easter dragon egg hunt and the kids had a great time. It is a lovely place to spend a day or even just half a day, and I would definitely recommend it for events like this. Whoever the actors were playing the dragon riders were absolutely amazing, very entertaining, and stayed fully in character the whole time. Unfortunately, we did not get the chance to try the restaurant, but it looked and smelled lovely. The toilets were clean, the facilities were well maintained, and the gardens were beautifully kept. Overall, a really enjoyable experience for families.
