Had an amazing day at Hollycombe . My wife got me a traction engine day experience for my 50th. Owen was amazing as we're all the volunteers very friendly and loved to chat about the engines. We did everything from cleaning out the engine, oiling, firing up and driving round the site and or course the odd pull of the whistle. A lovely lamb hotpot for lunch and plenty of drinks . Even a little toy fair for me to spend a few shillings and have a chat with some stall holders. There was also plenty for my wife to wonder round while I was on my experience. The little train ride and the veiws are just amazing We will definitely be back Thank you for a great day out.

We visited on their 75th anniversary steam fair... It was a rather wet day but we thoroughly enjoyed the event... We thought that a visit with our grandchildren would be great on a sunny day when there would be time for them to enjoy the fairground rides without getting wet...

Cold and wet day but an amazing atmosphere. Many visiting engines and got to ride a few too. Lovely sounds and smells.

Wow! Cannot thank the staff/volunteers enough for the fabulous day we all had. My dad was gifted an experience day, driving and attending to one of the steam engines. It was amazing from start to finish. Amazing welcome from Lucy and all staff very helpful and friendly. My dad spent all day with Owen and he was just brilliant. Very kind, patient and knowledgeable. Thoroughly recommended. Well done Hollycombe.

So i went here because there was a toy fair being held there. But what a lovely place. I love steam engines and this was an added bonus, steam powered fair ground rides, traction engines of all shapes and sizes. Miniature train rides and a small history of how steam powered great Britain 🇬🇧 well worth a visit.
