An oasis in Chez, this is a good place to walk, take photos, feed the swans, geese, ducks and squirrels.

It’s a nice nature spot and the dogs loved it! It just happened to be a bit too hot with not enough shaded spots so we had to cut the walk early. Next time I would come on a milder day! The lake was smaller than I anticipated but it was cute.

Absolutely stunning place. It's enormous. We parked on the bottom level, and steered the kids to the path that avoided the playground so we could get a good walk done first. Went through the woods and around the lake and then up the path by the brick ball which led, unbeknownst to us, up to another playground. Couldn't avoid it, 😂 but luckily also has a cafe and toilets as this is a much bigger carpark. Plenty of green fields to walk and play. Unfortunately, didn't have time to explore all the other trails, but we will be back. Suitable for long or short strolls. Fine for wheelchairs and buggies from the bottom carpark . Not sure from the top as we went up a very steep hill to get there.

Holmebrook Valley Country Park is a lovely place to go for a walk, the forests here are really beautiful, especially with all the autumnal colours. It's a great place to take your dog, there are lots of areas you can take them off the lead, including an enclosed area specifically for dogs to play around in. There is a playground next to the northern car park that is perfect for children to play while parents can watch from the nearby benches. You can find another playground about half way around one of the trails, additionally there is also an outdoor gym that can be found in the same area. Restrooms are next to the play park at the northern car park. Easy to find & accessible. There's lots of benches distributed throughout the park, with a couple of picnic benches. You can find some picnic benches next to the enclosed dog play area, and there are also some picnic benches by the northern car park. The walk itself is mostly flat, however there is a downhill/uphill segment at the beginning & end of the circuit. Besides that, there are no other notable hills. The trails are easily accessible for prams and mobility vehicles. Enjoyed visiting here with my dog, it's a really peaceful place with a lovely lake. Lots of other doggies to play with if that's something you're looking for. Just be aware that there may be dogs running around off the lead, but from my experience here they've all been well trained.

Fantastic park for a stroll, play, sit or snack in the cafe. It has a lovely lake and well defined paths through the trees, plus even a small mountain biking trail. There is a big play park for kids, football goals and plenty of free parking. Something for everyone to enjoy.
