A really well thought out museum. I am of an age to remember a lot of the items on display but not old enough to remember the war. It was a nice experience to see lots of things my granny and mother had in the home, brought back lots of memories. If you get chance go and see the place it's well worth a visit.
A really well curated collection which was very interesting with just enough detail being given to provide some useful context for the exhibits. It gave me a greater understanding of the huge impact the war had on civilians also how much we owe not only those in active military service but also everyone at home playing their part to help Britain get through the war. As ever, I wish I had asked my mother more.
Visited here on Wednesday well worth it from the outside it looks small but when you walk back in time it certainly is very interesting and full of information. You can even sit in a Anderson shelter. Definitely worth a visit. Tucked over the road from the wetherspoons palladium. Worth the entrance fee which is very reasonable.. You will definitely enjoy.
It is very small. You won’t spend a good amount in there unless you’re reading everything but if you are gonna read you’ll be blocking people from walking around. It’s tiny so probs take you 5-10 minutes walking around
This gem of a place is visually spectacular. Its literally like a tardis. Every inch of space is just so well used. It's so informative and a super price to enter. Loved it.
