Honeybees is a brilliant place to take your children no matter what age. We would often go to honeybees for its cost, facilities, cleanliness , food choice for kids and also parties. We recently went a my daughter hit her head on the corner of one of the tables and the way the staff reacted was amazing, They couldn't of done more for us if they tried. Really couldn't recommend this place enough.
Really good for the 1 and a half hour sessions we booked. Not sure if thats just the session length. Plenty of seating for adults and the toddler section is a really good size. They sell hot food, tray bakes, coffee and other drinks. My kids love this place and its great for expelling that child energy that never seems to go
A high quality and visually pleasing children’s play area with a great range of activities for young children across the role play and soft play areas. We enjoyed our first visit and will definitely be back!
We attended mid week and it was fantastic. Not too busy. Soft play facilities are great! Definitely one of the best around for toddlers and babies. My two year old really enjoyed it. I also popped upstairs to see what was included in the role play area and the staff member upstairs was so pleasant and helpful.
The play facility is excellent—clean, well-maintained, and more adult-friendly than many other soft play centres. We’ve been visiting regularly since it opened, and the staff have always been very friendly and welcoming. However, I’ve noticed a decline in supervision compared to when it first opened. Initially, staff were very attentive in the toddler area, ensuring older children stayed out. Now, it often feels like a free-for-all, with very little monitoring. The dolphin carousel is a particular concern. Older children are using it inappropriately, spinning it at excessive speeds to the point where the dolphins are nearly going sideways. This creates a real safety risk—I’ve nearly been knocked over myself on a couple of occasions. Another issue is children climbing up the big rainbow slide. This is dangerous for everyone involved, especially when children are coming down at the same time. Both staff and parents need to take more responsibility here, as I’ve personally experienced near-collisions with unsupervised children running up the slide. It would be a great improvement to have a member of staff consistently supervising the toddler area, as well as someone positioned at the bottom of the rainbow slide to help prevent accidents. As a small additional suggestion, it would be very helpful if a toddler toilet seat could be added to the family/disabled toilet. They are inexpensive but would make a big difference for families with young children.
