We visited for the first time today for a Lemur and Meerkat feeding experience, it was so good! Sarah the zoo keeper was lovely, numerous and informative, I couldn't believe how friendly and interactive the lemurs and meerkats were, it was wonderful to have them sitting and climbing on us. I would definitely recommend the experience! The Zoo and dinosaur world was great to look around too, some schools were there and the kids seemed to love it, as big kids so did we!

Well worth it. I thought the animals would be the highlight but the animatronic dinosaurs - wow! What an experience that was! And make sure to buy the feed because hand feeding the animals are such a special experience! Thank you Hoo Zoo for a bank of family memories! ♥️

Really good place. Good for kids who like a mixture of dinosaur and animals like my little one.. much bigger than it looks. Animals look well cared for, something for everyone there. Pity the Landrover rides were off cos I wanted to go on that and I think lemur walk was shut. But literally we seen every animal today but it was a sunny day. Cafe is a little pricy, it serves hot dogs , burgers, pizza and jacket potatoes. They do meal deal with a drink and fries. But not much difference in prices to other places I’ve been. Really lovely little shop and friendly staff. Really great day out. Went for opening when it was quiet and stayed until 3pm. Dinosaur exhibits is amazing. Would highly recommend.

We were offered a free visit after a wash out day in February. We redeemed that ticket today and I must say I am highly impressed. We headed straight for the dinosaurs and were amazed by the quality of the dinos! The new animatronics are incredible! We then did the feed the baby T Rex which was really good. It was so amazing to see the baby meerkats, they’re adorable! We also encountered quite a lot of staff members and they were all lovely! So kind to my toddler. Especially the lady in with the dreadlocked hair. She was at the entrance around half 10 and then in the sweet/slush shop at half 1. She went above and beyond for us ❤️. We will definitely revisit after today’s experience.

A wonderful smaller zoo with plenty to do for the kids. There are quite a few less common animals here like servals and a section with dinosaur and prehistoric animal models. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our daughter did one of the experiences as a birthday present and Nathalie was brilliant. She was informative, friendly and answered all questions with a smile. It was evident throughout thay the staff cared for the animals and took a pride in their job. Although some of the exhibits were on the smaller side, enrichment was on display. The meet a dinosaur experience was very well done and thrilled all the young kids there. The play area caters to toddlers upwards with the added bonus of very friendly domestic cats wandering round the site. This zoo certainly feels more manageable with young kids than some of the bigger zoos
