Lovely little park. Clean and tidy and well maintained. Includes a street gym and playground, skate park, basketball court and football pitch with one goal.
Horn Park is where Henry VIII obtained the wood for his fleets that were built in Deptford in South East London. He also used it as a hunting ground. Now it is a local park with open grassland, a football pitch, children's play area and an outdoor gym.
The park from what i can see of it after coming 4 times is not that big, it has 2 little playground areas for under 10yrs and a skate park section. The park is mainly grass and feild but still good.
Lovely little patch of green space to go for a morning walk. Very popular with dog walkers with plenty wandering around off leash so be cautious if you have an anxious dog or child. Park is ok - could be a lot better if extended and upgraded.
This park on a sloped remnant of an historic protected forest maintains the usual amenities including a playground and outdoor gym. Some assorted trees and hedgerows and grassed areas but little in the way of shrubs, plants and bedding. Seemingly a popular gambolling destination for the local canine community. Pleasantly elevated with view eastward affording a sense of spaciousness.
