Thoroughly wonderful experience. So many memories revisited of childhood holidays with my Aunt and Uncle. Helping to churn milk into butter. The cottage so like my grannies. The rag rugs I helped my mother make when I was little. The copper that washed our clothes and then was our tin bath water. It was amazing and well.worth a visit.

Nice small museum of a home where a family lived for 100s of years. Very interesting and reasonably priced

Has to be one of the best kept and interesting museums I have visited. Reasonably priced. Rooms are quite small inside, and can imagine it being difficult to walk around if they are busy. We visited on a weekday Free car park further down the road on main street

being past this lots of times as we thought nothing much, how wrong was we, this museum was tremendous, the room after room was filled with so much history it was nothing more then first class, each room had information on a read chart or you could press for automatic guide, it was just a great experience and yes I will definitely visit again, the only think what would top it off, a drinks machine, there was open space and would of being lovely to sit, contemplate with a lovely cuppa but alas, can't have it all but don't let it stop you from a visit, we all need to support these little diamond places so they are able to move forward to keep history alive. brilliant day at a brilliant museum xx
