The playground is surrounded by distinctive metal railings designed by artist Chris Campbell, which tell the story of London's heritage through artistic depictions of historic events including The Great Fire of London and Lord Nelson's Funeral Barge. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the actual River Thames, where iconic London landmarks such as St Paul's Cathedral and The Shard are visible. Originally funded by local philanthropist Henry Spicer, the playground was envisioned as a safe, exciting space where children from all backgrounds could play and socialise together. Beautiful park across the bridge, The view is great, Unfortunately at the time of our visit there was some renovations, but even though it was great place to see and visit,,

It was a good place to stop by and let the kids rest and play after long walks around the neighborhood and seeing Big Ben and London Eye and other attractions.

Great Park and kids play area with an amazing view of parliament. Several picnic tables, seating areas, and places to relax in addition to the kids play sets. There’s even a snack bar/ice cream store on premises that kids would love.

This playground is really beautiful and the view is exactly what I love about London. So many options and toilets too.
