High school activities (often called “HS activities”) are programs and opportunities offered to students outside of regular academic classes. They play an important role in personal development, helping students build skills, explore interests, and form social connections. These activities generally fall into several categories. **Extracurricular activities** include sports such as football, basketball, and track, as well as clubs like debate, drama, music, student council, and science club. These programs allow students to develop teamwork, leadership, and time-management skills while pursuing their passions. **Co-curricular activities** are closely connected to academics. Examples include academic competitions, language clubs, or school publications like newspapers and yearbooks. These activities help reinforce classroom learning and encourage critical thinking and creativity. High school activities also include **community service and volunteer work**, where students participate in charity events, environmental projects, or local outreach programs. These experiences build empathy, responsibility, and a sense of civic duty. Participation in HS activities often benefits students beyond school. It can strengthen college or job applications by showing initiative, commitment, and well-rounded development. Students also gain confidence, improve communication skills, and learn how to work effectively with others. Overall, high school activities are a valuable part of education. They provide opportunities for growth beyond academics, helping students discover their interests, develop life skills, and create lasting memories during their school years.

Great range of activities, friendly staff - very organised and very clear on safety instructions and advice on shooting technique, etc. We had 2 people down due to sickness and the Team were very accomodating. We did the clay pigeon shooting which was great fun and i had the option for a lighter shotgun which really helped (25 rounds later it is very tiring on the arms). Wanted to return for the air rifle shooting but time did not allow. A highly recommended day (or hours) out!

An absolutely fantastic activities centre. Hugely friendly and helpful, with excellent value. We've come as groups for clays and paintball, over the years, and only ever been extremely pleased with everything that HS Activities have done.
