Lovely countryside owned and maintained by the Woodland Trust, with a network of paths leading through the woods and linking with the North Downs Way. Superb views by the wooden carved shepherd looking across West Kent to the North Downs. There are a few carved wild boar to look out for in the neighbouring field. Plenty of wild flowers to see in spring, with some particularly lovely woodland paths through ground carpeted with bluebells, and a variety of fungi in autumn. The parking area is well maintained but quite small, and can fill up by midday on fine summer days, but the estate never feels busy. If the weather's good, it's worth a look across the road from the parking area, as the view is quite extensive and you can see as far as Southend in Essex. Suitable for dog walks, but dogs must be kept on leads when there are sheep grazing in the fields.

Lovely walks but , seems they drive tractors over paths, which creates furrows, so some paths very uneven , also some think ok to light up bbqs , they need clearly post signs for those who have little capacity for woods or wildlife that live within . Benches need replacing as rotten.

Great woodland walks and beautiful carpets of bluebells.

Visited the Hucking Estate this morning for a nice long walk. I was the first one in the free car park (arrived around 0830hrs). 580 acres of ancient woodland managed by the Woodland Trust to explore. the abundance of wild flowers, especially bluebells, were stunning. There are way marked paths to follow with the occasional information board and maps. Great views.

You can walk through a field with 200 sheep's in!! Whatever you do, don't take your dog in with you. It is worth a visit with this highlight alone but overall everything was actually quite good. It's very quiet and piecfull. The car park is small though as it's nice and quiet. Unsure you could, but we didn't pay for parking... There are three walks of varying lengths. Pathways are sort of clear, quite tricky with a pram in certain places. Lovely views over the downs where the wooden Shepard is sitting. I would go again.
