visit splash park in term break Saturday afternoon. Easy to book even during even during warm weather dates. Extremely suitable for people don't know how to swim or beginners. Deepest area of splash park just 1.3M. with 2 exciting slides and a tiny one. There is on-site carpark which is convenient but can consider visit during non peak time for a secure space, parking fee apply, max stay 4 hours

What an amazing experience all round. We travelled from Bradford and were not disappointed. Staff so friendly and nothing too much trouble. The facilities are really clean. The park isn't huge but big enough for a few hours of fun. Prices are extremely reasonable too (£30 for my son and I for 2 hours). There are loads of lifeguards who were all 'on it'. The park didn't feel overcrowded like some other water parks. We will definitely be back!

The only gym I have ever got up at 6 am to go to! Staff are friendly and not pushy. Loads of equipment. Music is never too loud; toilets are clean, and the swimming pool is very family-friendly.

We made the trip over from Bradford for our first visit, lured in by the impressive-looking photos on Google. I had a mixed-age crew with me: my 8-year-old son and his two cousins, aged 12 and 14. It’s always a gamble finding somewhere that keeps a primary schooler and two teenagers entertained, but Huddersfield largely delivered on the "fun factor." The standout feature is undoubtedly the slide selection. Even though we visited during the school holidays—and it was predictably hectic—the two main slides are the stars of the show. They are high-quality, exciting, and, frankly, worth the entry fee alone. Even with the holiday queues, the kids felt that spending an hour purely tackling the flumes was time well spent. Coming from Bradford, it’s hard not to compare it to the legendary Richard Dunn’s. If you’re expecting that level of sprawling scale, you might be slightly disappointed. The entire splash area is surprisingly compact. The pool itself is on the smaller side, which can feel a bit "tight" when the session is at full capacity. It’s a modern, clean, and well-run facility, but it lacks that massive "water world" feel some might be looking for. It’s a great venue for children and definitely keeps them busy. It sort of lived up to the expectations—it’s a solid choice for a rainy day activity, but I left feeling just a little bit underwhelmed by the overall size of the area. If you're going during the school holidays, prepare for a wait at the flumes. The slides are the main event here, so make sure you get your turns in early
