The leisure centre itself really does have many facilities and reception staff are welcoming however the staff reflect the experience at the centre. I am very disappointed and have no choice having worked for LCC to leave this review. Week after week when attending the swimming pool mainly on Sunday 11.30-1pm the staff are quite frankly abrupt rude and really don't possess any customer skills. As soon as I come it feels like the lifeguards target certain people for no legitimate reason regarding the clothing and the ability for me or my children to enjoy our swim. Me and my children are adequate safe swimmers however get questioned every 5 mins when they can swim length after length. The staff are young and require training and never seem to give their names which is strange. I have and always will talk to staff with respect please let me amd family enjoy our swim as we are long standing customers.

Very disappointing experience. The pool facilities were not up to standard. The toilets were extremely dirty and had a strong unpleasant odor. The shower area also offered very little privacy, which made the experience uncomfortable. However, the biggest issue was the lifeguard’s behavior. Despite repeatedly explaining that I am a competent swimmer and fully capable of swimming in the deep area, I was refused access without any reasonable explanation. The lifeguard stated that it was her last shift and that she did not want her clothes to get wet if she had to rescue someone. I found this comment highly unprofessional, especially considering that ensuring swimmer safety is a fundamental part of a lifeguard’s job. The situation escalated when she threatened to remove me from the pool if I even walked toward the deep end. Her attitude was unnecessarily aggressive, dismissive, and intimidating. Instead of creating a safe and welcoming environment, her conduct made the experience unpleasant and frustrating. Management should address both the cleanliness issues and the professionalism of the staff, as this experience fell far below what customers should expect.

The bottom of the swimming pool is filthy and never clean . The women's changing room/ bathroom smells absolutely horrendous and is unclean. Would rate it zero stars if i could. An issue that needs resolving as soon as possible. Wow what a disappointment!

First star for big car park and second for the pool. It does its job. The hygiene in male change room is terrible. Shower... Well just look at pictures and video below. I was looking for other word but couldn't find it... disgusting. Renovation is needed asap.
