A brilliant morning spent flying owls, a falcon and a vulture! Staff were fabulous, really knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the animals in their care. Would highly recommend a visit.

We did the Falconry Premiere Experience with Icarus Falconry at Holdenby House. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Greeted by the friendly team with a cup of tea, we went and met all of the magnificent birds and then flew 4 of them in different locations within the grounds of the house. The team are knowledgeable and entertaining and the birds are just wonderful. We got to fly a hawk, a falcon an owl and a vulture, then at the end of our experience we had some time with their magnificent golden eagle perched on our arm. Wow! This experience is worth every penny and will be something I never forget.

Visiting Icarus has been the highlight of my summer. Such a beautiful setting within the grounds of a historic stately home. The falconry centre itself is so impressive, beautiful clean spacious enclosures, you could see the birds were so well looked after. But the real highlight was meeting Emily and O’Sel, the passion and love these 2 had for the birds was so infectious, such dedicated highly knowledgeable people, their energy was equal to that of the birds. After a great cup of tea made by the friendly volunteer (I think Greg.. sorry if I forgot) we had a lovely personal tour of all the birds, followed by a couple of hours of flying - we flew 4 different species, each one unique. It really was an incredible experience having a beautiful Harris hawk perched on your wrist (I love you Pandora xx) and the owls were an experience of their own, after you've had an owl flying to your hand, you'll never be the same person. Just beautiful. Thank you to everyone at Icarus, I'm recommending you to all my friends. You've made something quite special and should all be so proud of yourselves 🙏💓

Wow. What an amazing day out. Took my mum for her birthday as she loves barn owls. The staff were amazing and incredibly understanding. Mum got to hold owls and falcons, stroke them and take part in flights with them landing on her hand. Would totally recommend anyone going for a visit. Very reasonably priced but should be booked online to guarantee a viewing.

Brilliant Premier Falconry Experience. The setting is so beautiful and historic. The staff were amazing so informative and passionate about their birds. My husband flew a falcon, two owls and a wonderful vulture. Highly recommend.
