A great place to take the kids and grandkids. Lots of nostalgia and local history. Kids are kept entertained by a range of scavenger hunt activities that keep them interested in learning about our history. Highly recommend

So delighted that the museum has allowed me to exhibit some of my private collection. The museum may be small but its packed with amazing items, especially local items. Definitely worth the time to visit. Situated near the sea front its easy to get to.

Enjoyably random collection. I could do without so much taxidermy personally, but fantastic on local history, including an amazing book of memories of the local railways. Very friendly volunteer hosts.

Great museum, I thoroughly enjoyed looking around, they have a lot of interesting things to look at, like old wedding cake, old hoovers, taxidermy etc. Friendly staff member who was very knowledgeable and informative.
