Innoflate Newport, is a fantastic day for all ages. There are different types of activities, the bouncy areas are well maintained and cleaned. Staff always supervising area's. I have booked online and just turned up. Everything was simple, great value and professional staffing also. My kids loved it, 7yr & 11yr. Would highly recommend going. Fantastic for a rainy day activity.

The actual place is good, with a lot of parking in Spytty to choose from and food places near by to eat before and after. The event I initially paid for was the Demon Hunters night, it was expensive for what it was and as we had never been, I expected different to what was actually there. For some reason I thought there would be more obstacles and separate sections, perhaps more jumping areas with things to fall into such as large foam blocks or plastic balls but none of that. Was expecting more balance areas as well, as they make it out it can be dangerous without their socks. Well it’s basically a massive bouncy castle and yes there’s a big castle like walls to climb up that have net and ropes to reach the top and then you have a choice of around 4 different directions to go and what type of slide to go down, most are just like a standard slide angle, there’s one that’s a free fall drop onto a inflatable pillow thing (that was fun). There is a hill with random buttons to press and there’s a timer to count how many you can do in the time limit, this was ok. The wipe out jumping/dodge beam was closed off and we weren’t allowed to use it, a bit disappointing given it’s not as if there’s much to do. Once you’ve ran around the place and done the 5 slides, there’s not much to actually do and I’m not saying that as a immature adult who did jump around quite a bit, I’m saying this as I saw quite a lot of kids just sitting around in there not doing much and there was a lot of idol people including other adults just hovering around on it which is fine if it wasn’t so busy but it was quite chaotic to the point that you couldn’t jump without someone going into you or you needing to dodge others which is why I mention adults being on there, as some weren’t paying attention and just would not be quick enough to avoid kids. There was two main staff on the inflatable watching for safety reasons, they would mostly stand in one or two places but would go around to check. The demon hunter girls did a great job, they were very friendly and happy to go up and down the slides, take photos ect. Then there was a power cut, which is shown in my video. This wasn’t their fault and I was given an apology and we left about half an hour before it was due to end. They phoned me and offered me a free visit at another event for my child, which I accepted. The grinch nerf war Christmas event which was free of charge for us so can’t complain too much, this time I didn’t go onto the inflatable with her as I assumed they would be busy shooting the grinch and I would just get in the way. There was a lot of boys eager to shoot someone, which wasn’t a surprise. My daughter came without any friends so I was a bit worried when I noticed the grinch mostly stood where I had taken the photos I’ve uploaded, the outfit was ok but I could tell the grinch wasn’t as playful or that into the role to go on there much and I didn’t see much shooting of the grinch happening. My daughter hovered around the grinch for a while but the grinch wasn’t doing much to be honest. I get it, it’s probably hot in that mask and it sucks for them so I get they didn’t want to do much climbing or running in that outfit, they might not of had good vision in it either as they were being held and escorted by staff when they went on the inflatable and there wasn’t much speed or rush to chase down kids or shoot them back, so it was more just for photos… I’d say a lot of the kids didn’t see the grinch much as he stayed by the entrance for most of the time and the kids were on the actual inflatable so it was a bit pointless. The three stars is for the fact they called me and offered me the free session and that shows they care about customer satisfaction which I appreciate. They should ensure they don’t over book events as too many people on there can make it less enjoyable, I understand they have to make money but given the wipeout beam was closed, it just meant more kids/adults crammed onto the others things which in my opinion, lacked. The cafe is ok and the arcade is small.

Had a lovely time with the granddaughter as a treat , but at over £20 for a 1 hour session with a 4 year old I feel it's very expensive, I have 2 grandchildren under 5 and at 16.95 per child plus socks 2.50 per pair no different to normal socks plus a £1 booking fee that would be over 40 pounds for 1hr open bounce for 2 under 5 Yr . It's not something most people who are a family with more than 1 child could afford to do very often, If it were say £10 per session I would consider it good value and be able to visit more often. But a fun day overall and the granddaughter was tired afterwards!!
