The outdoor pool in gourock is one of my favourite pools during the summer time. It can be busy during the peak times but still there are plenty changing rooms and lockers to choose from. The showers also supply hot water for before and after having a dip in the pool. The pool can be crowded but there is still plenty space for everyone. The diving board are only open at certain time but they are very fun to use with friends or just by yourself. My personal favourite feature would be the use of a fast and slow lane on the side of the pool. The staff who work there are very friendly and nice. I would recommend this pool for anyone that visits gourock during the summertime ( the pool is only open during the summer and a bit of spring and autumn ).

Swimming outdoors in a heated pool, on a sunny day at the Clyde coast at Gourock, what's not to love? £17 for one adult and two children, pay-and-display or on-street parking available and nice cafes and walks along the esplanade. Could be cleaner, showers could be better but take your pool slides, big bag for wet stuff and 20ps for hair dryers and you're sorted. If you want to sunbathe, bring your own seats as not many available.

A wonderful day in the pool! My daughter had an unforgettable experience and so did I! The water is warm. There is a small pool for kids. There is a live queue, tickets were bought at the entrance. You need to have a £1 coin to use the locker. In my opinion, the incredible view compensates for all the minor flaws! I recommend it! Thanks to the staff for their work!

Great ! Temperature is pretty much body temp so you can just walk down the stairs and right in and there's no shock of cold water at all - nice and warm. Salt water seemed quite clean to me, Showers and changing rooms clean as well. Didn't check out toilets. Will be back as often as I can in the future!!!

Been wanting to visit this outdoor pool for a while and made the visit in late August. £5.50 for an adult swim (you can stay in as long as you want) and the first 3 hrs of parking is free! Changing facilities are OK and use £1 coin deposit. The music is a bit deafening in the changing area but less so outside. Pool area outside is OK. Great views even in poor weather. Pool is warm and salt water and makes for an enjoyable swim. There is a good deep end (3.5m) which you don’t often see in more modern pools with spring board and platform. Would definitely travel the hour there and back to visit again.
