A spacious 54-acre park playground featuring an impressive three-part pirate ship with crow's nest, adjacent to the Royal Botanic Garden.

The focal point of this Inverleith Park playground is an impressive three-part pirate ship structure—complete with slide, crow's nest featuring a steering wheel, and climbing platform. This imaginative centrepiece sets it apart from typical Edinburgh playgrounds. Beyond the ship, facilities include standard swings, toddler swings, seesaw, and a smaller toddler climbing unit. Located in the southeast corner of one of Edinburgh's largest green spaces (54 acres), the playground benefits from adjacency to the Royal Botanic Garden, allowing combined visits. A nearby coffee van provides refreshments, and Botanic Garden toilets are just across the road. The broader park offers outdoor gym equipment, tennis courts, and a boating pond with swans.

Love going here. Slowly wearing down, some repairs would be nice :)

Becoming more and more dangerous and run down. Equipment has major wear and tear and splintered wood everywhere. This park really needs a makeover! Sure there was fundraising for it years ago, would be happy to contribute as we live locally and would use it a lot!

Small and outdated. Needs some good renovation and perhaps a few new things.

A very nice experience for kids and adults. There is outdoor fitness equipment just outside the playground and There is also a toilet not too far, which is very tidy.

Petanque Club was busy today. Great practise and training for those who will represent Scotland in Netherlands, Spain and Denmark this summer.
