Great place, A wonderful and heartwarming place! It is amazing to see how well-loved and happy all the rescued donkeys are. The staff and volunteers are incredibly friendly, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it a perfect visit. Admission and parking are free, but please consider leaving a donation or buying something from the gift shop to support their fantastic work. The on-site café is also lovely. Highly recommended for all ages!"

Visited with a friend who is completely obsessed with donkeys, so naturally we ended up here… and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. The sanctuary is a lovely, warm, and welcoming place that provides a forever home to over a hundred donkeys from all sorts of backgrounds. You can really tell how much care and passion goes into looking after them. It’s free to park and enter and they only raise their funds from donations so please give whatever you can. The site itself is very walkable and accessible, with plenty of information around about the animals and their stories, which made it genuinely interesting to explore. There’s also a reasonably priced café on site, and all the staff we spoke to were friendly, generous with their time, and clearly passionate about what they do. Ended up being a really nice way to spend a few hours. Much more enjoyable than I expected. The donkeys seem happier than most people I meet day to day!

A lovely couple of hours spent here. It was a lovely sunny day, which was good as there is very little shelter. The donkeys were beautiful & very well cared for. There is a cafe and shop & very nice picnic area. The people who work here were very happy & welcoming, it was very clear that they care alot for these gorgeous donkeys.

Lovely place to visit. So many donkeys to see! Cafe has been very much upgraded since the last time I was there, food and drinks looking delicious. Also a souvenir shop that helps support the donkeys. So much parking and plenty of seats around or those less able to stand/walk for long. Mum did have some trouble on the gravel path and car park with her walker but the rest is easy to walk around.

A wonderful day out for the whole family! Highly recommend this fantastic place! Not only is it a rescue sanctuary for donkeys, but there's also a lovely area to walk around with plenty to see, making it a great day out for all the family. The donkeys are all beautifully and lovingly cared for, and it's really heartwarming to see. The staff are friendly and passionate — they won't be shy about sharing each donkey's journey, which makes the experience so much more meaningful. It's incredible to see what an achievement the whole operation is. Don't miss the little barn café — we had lunch there and it was absolutely delicious. A must-visit
