I only planned to stop by for five minutes, but somehow ended up spending the whole day there. I watched the Duxford Air Show from a spot just outside the Imperial War Museum and filmed some of the displays. It was absolutely captivating. From beautifully restored historic aircraft to modern jets and breathtaking aerobatics, there was always something happening in the sky. If you get the chance next year, I’d definitely recommend going. Whether you’re an aviation enthusiast or simply enjoy a great day out, it’s well worth the visit.

Went today for the Summer air show and have been many times more before. The place is well laid out with plenty of facilities and direction signs. The parking for air shows is shocking to say the least but normal every day parking is always fine

We visited today and wow what an experience we had, the museum was absolutely amazing!! We got talking to a lovely young apprentice called Ben who was so friendly and knowledgeable, it was wonderful to see a young person so passionate about his work, you are a credit to the museum. We would definitely recommend the museum to all. All staff were happy to answer any questions and again were so knowledgeable and friendly. To see these aircraft’s up and close was incredible. Well will definitely be back in the near future.

Lovely place to visit, especially if you’re interested in aviation or history. There’s a lot to see, and the aircraft displays are really impressive. The site is quite big, so be prepared for a lot of walking. I’d definitely recommend wearing a good pair of comfortable shoes. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was well organised. It was also a good day out for the family, with plenty to keep children interested. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Really amazing day out! Went here with a few friends and I honestly had a really fun day. We started off by visiting the gift shop and bought a few goodies. We then ventured into the museum area which has a section for everyone who loves planes, they had a very diverse selection of planes and artefacts. I really enjoyed the soldiers who were there for the D-day anniversary. They let us take photos with them and we’re very friendly. They had many good food trucks that had burgers, desserts, drinks and much more! (However prices were a bit steep so be prepared). They also allow you into a lot of aircraft and for £6 you can check out a lot of cool aircraft and go inside then, I particularly enjoyed seeing the Concorde. They also had many ice cream vans which were incredible and refreshing on the hot day. Overall it was a really great trip and day out and I would definitely visit again. Staff were also very informative and friendly. Cannot fault these guys. Parking was a bit of a struggle as it was so packed but we found a space eventually and took the bus to the museum which takes you there directly. Air show itself was equally enjoyable!
