We visited the tile museum last year. It was the highlight of our holiday. There’s a stunning range of historical tiles. I bought a beautiful tile teapot stand and I absolutely love it. I ordered a different one online and I wasn’t disappointed. It has a beautiful floral design with a butterfly. These tiles are to cherish and treasure. The quality is amazing .

It's a tile museum so your enjoyment will be highly dependent on your interest in history, manufacturing and art. It's worth a visit if only as part of a general visit to other Ironbridge sites. Like Blists Hill it's part of the NT. When we went it didn't seem to have a cafe.

Interesting medium sized museum organised as a one way walk-through. Plenty of opportunities to stop along the way and spend as much time as you wish reading the information boards. No guides as such. Manufacturing is still taking place downstairs but only glimpsed through closed doors. Feel that Jackfield maybe missing a trick here as Wedgwood in Stoke is far more interactive. I would have loved to have seen some tiles being made - even if for only a quick ten minutes demonstration. Jackfield's strength is the superb breadth of it's gorgeous exhibits but I left with the overwhelming feeling that I'd missed out on seeing the core process in action. At Blist's Hill you see wood being engraved, lessons being taught and posters being printed. Nice clean cafe with good coffee. A separate business across the courtyard appeared to be offering tile painting activities.

Wonderful museum about tile making in the region, the owners and how they came to be in the area, how tiles are made, different tile styles, and more. There are examples of many tiles, including mini recreations of pubs, lounges, bathrooms and more to show how tiles were used. We spent about an hour but could’ve lingered a little longer. Small cafe, shop, and toilets onsite. Parking included with Plus Pass or approx. £1.50 per hour.

A fabulous collection of beautiful tiles. The museum is calm and peaceful. The displays are an absolute joy and the whole place was both an education and a delightful experience.
