Being a seasoned visitor to the Marylebone branch, I thought I would try the White City one. Turned up on the spur of the moment having found myself in the area and the very helpful staff managed to fit me in without issue. Went in the main cat section as the kitten part wasn't open on the day we visited. Large airy room with nice seating and some lovely friendly feline clientele. Nice selection of drinks and light snacks available too. Will definitely visit again in the future.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The cakes and biscuits were delicious. We visited the cat room- we said hi to many beautiful cats. They were all very happy and relaxed, obviously well looked after. The room had a lovely peaceful vibe and it was great just being in the presence of the cats and letting them come over to say hi to us. Beware Costa the ginger cat- beautiful and playful- yet savage! Take plasters - the love bites are real!! Will visit again next time we are in the area.

Had a great time today at the Java whiskers cat cafe. The staff were very friendly, and the overall environment was just great. Since I visited both the cat and kitten lounge, I can safely say that the kitten lounge is much more chaotic. The kittens ran around everywhere, but they were all adorable and very playful. The cat lounge was much calmer, however the cats there were also very playful. The food was also delicious, despite being quite expensive. It is quite obvious from the photos which my favourite kitten was.

Super cute experience. Actually somewhere you can easily go to just decompress for a while surrounded by some more lively than others kittens. Sam eventually found my lap and boy did he have a purr motor going. If I thought my senior boy at home could cope with a new addition he would have been adopted that day but alas, my home is already ruled. Lovely atmosphere. Lovely staff.

We had a great time, my only improvement would be to increase staff check-in’s especially with parties with small children though this is because there were small incidents that resulted that I absolutely do not blame staff for due to uncontrollable variables but do wish were somewhat prevented which I will elaborate on later. Loved hanging out with Barney, Angelo, Barbara and Leo who snuck out the door to the cloak room and curled up on my wheelchair when we were gathering our stuff! Such a sweetheart and left quite the impression as if he didn’t want us to go, I hope he gets a good home whether that is with us or someone else. Staff was great in terms of being very knowledgeable a sweet, they were good when I inquired about the cats and adoption process and were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very inviting and the cafe clean as well as disability friendly! I use a wheelchair and cane, was very delighted with lack of stairs and accessibility, the room was also not a sensory nightmare and was very relaxing for the most part which brings me onto my main problem: I would have liked more staff check-in’s though I also sympathise that some customers are just a little ignorant and that it’s the holiday season and that it gets very busy, that being sent when I Visted in 29/12/2025 the party in there with us had 4 young kids (one that I even suspected to be under 6) who from the very start started screaming and climbing sofas and tables due to their absolute fear of cats. While I sympathise with this fear, the screaming panicked poor old Terry and he ended up scratching and biting a few people (myself included when trying to get near sweet Angelo who is such a playful darling), I luckily had plasters on me and while they left early another party of young kids joined after them. These parents handled their kids better though they were distracted momentarily and one of the young kids (they all looked no older than 5) got scratched and needed a plaster. Again, by Terry who seemed so overwhelmed at that point and I do hope he is okay! Don’t get me wrong, waiver I respect but I just worry about the cats that got frightened quiet a few times and wish staff would have checked in and stepped in with the first party and moved Terry somewhere to calm down. I however understand it’s not staff’s responsibility to parent other people’s kids and they were absolutely swamped at the counter outside with orders! Since this is a unpredictable variable and not really a controllable thing of staff I don’t see it necessary to lower my rating. I hope all the cats find homes and I will certainly be visiting again, maybe after the holidays at less peak hours!
