Stopped in for lunch. 4 adults, 1 kid, 1 dog, 1 baby in pram. We found a seat in the shade outside pretty quickly. Food was good and maybe only took 15mins to be ready for collection. I ordered the Plowmans. Every ingredient was just as I'd hoped for. Fish and chips, quiche of the day were also ordered. They were happy to swap the new potatoes with the quiche to chips. The child's fish and chips was exactly the same quality as the adult meal. Plenty of water bowls available for the dog. A very pleasant stop on a very hot day.

With the sun out, this is the perfect place to be, excellent restaurant with stunning views of the mill, gardens and river! Sit inside or take in the views outside The menu will suit everyone and the food is exceptionally good, price wise, yes it's at the higher end, but it comes with quality Take a look around the shop, there are some eye catching items to be had Definitely try the locally made honey rum!! Wow that's good!! Definitely a good place to go in all weather's and for all the family or even alone Very enjoyable indeed

Visited today ( friday). Parking was adequate. Large, attractive, restaurant with terrace overlooking river. Soup and scone looked good but we chose jkt potatoe with prawns (shrimps) and salad. Presentation poor, content adequate. Browsed gardens and riverside. Shop sells healthy produce and unusual gifts. The working Mill and variety of activities for children are popular. Best to book beforehand to avoid disappointment.

What a fantastic place. Took our 18-month old grandaughter & we were lucky as they had an adventure trail. It's a little too old for her, but we still had so much fun. Lots of wildlife and areas to explore. The woman in the shop was very kind and helpful. We'll definitely be returning a lot ☺️
