London, United Kingdom•4.5(358)•Country Park, Nature Reserve

Explore 62 acres of wildflower meadows, woodlands and chalk grasslands teeming with rare London wildlife and linked to countryside via walking trails.

Jubilee Country Park Local Nature Reserve spans 62 acres of diverse habitats including wildflower meadows, hedgerows and semi-natural ancient woodland. Located in Petts Wood, the park forms part of an important wildlife corridor connecting to surrounding countryside via the London LOOP walking route and Scadbury Park Local Nature Reserve. Designated as a Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation Grade II, the park supports a variety of wildlife species that are rare in London, particularly within its chalk and wet meadows and woodland areas. Visitors can discover the park's natural heritage through dedicated nature trails with available leaflets, cycle tracks that form part of the London cycle network, and a fenced picnic area. The park is actively managed by the Bromley Countryside Service and supported by a Friends group that meets regularly to undertake conservation work and host guided walks. The site is suitable for families of all ages seeking outdoor exploration, nature discovery and peaceful countryside experiences without entry fees.

Fabulous little park. Very peaceful and popular with locals and not only. Popular choice for dog walkers. Kept well and beautiful. Parking on 3 of the entrances. Enough bins provided and collected by Bromley Council.

Lovely, vast, peaceful park. Not much view, but great for a run or a relaxed stroll. Popular with dog walkers. Free car park via Blackbrook Ln, though limited spaces. *TIPS: 1. Mind where you step; horse/dog foul along the footpath 2. If going for a picnic, there are benches available via Thornet Wood Road

Lovely place for a walk, popular with dog walkers. There are two free car parks. Marked trails take you around the park, past named ponds and oak rich woodland.

Just a couple of minute walk from Petts Wood high street, this is amazing place. The wood is quite dense and gives you feeling of you being in jungle and at the same time, there is a nice cycling track where you can for for a cycling or get your kids learn is fearlessly as there is no road traffic. There are two Parking’s one in petts wood at Tent Peg Lane and another one near Bromley High School. There are picnic areas and you can see the nice birds too.

Great walks for dogs. Very well kept with plenty of routes to take. Nice picnic area and bike tracks as well as tracks for horses. There are various groups that attend here for all your nature needs, bird watching etc so take a look at the notice boards at the entrances. Plenty of parking available and a stone throw away from Petts Wood High Street that offers dog friendly cafes and bars.
