staff lied to us when we asked them to turn on the machine, they told us someone would come in a minute and left us standing there for around 10 minutes. staff also sat there having chats instead of doing their job and keeping an eye on the kids. apart from that the obstacle course was very clean and fun to play on, facilities were clean and parking was pretty good for a sunday at 11:30am
Manager Leah at the Burgess Hill location has no customer service skills whatsoever. She was rude, abrupt, and didn’t even greet families when they arrived. She spoke down to customers in a way that made you feel stupid rather than helped. I visited on Sunday 24th May for my daughter’s 4th birthday party, and the whole experience was disappointing. It was extremely hot inside, and I was surprised there were no fans or air conditioning. The atmosphere felt uncomfortable, and the staff generally seemed like they just wanted to go home. I paid a lot of money for my daughter’s birthday celebration but did not feel welcomed at all. It genuinely felt like no one could be bothered. Chloe, the supervisor, was the only member of staff who was polite and pleasant, so credit to her for trying. Overall, I would not recommend this location based on the poor customer service and overall experience of your booking for a birthday party.
I visited Jump In Burgess Hill inflatable park with my 4-year-old son (just over 1m tall) midweek during term time, and unfortunately the experience wasn’t great. The inflatable area was extremely busy with much older children and teenagers, some around 14–15 years old and much bigger than the younger kids. Many of them were running at full speed around the inflatables and on several occasions they nearly knocked my son over. It felt unsafe for smaller children due to the large difference in size and speed between younger children and teenagers, and I was genuinely worried he could have been injured. I understand the sessions are advertised as being for everyone, but in reality the mix of very young children and much older teenagers didn’t feel well managed. Some clearer supervision, rules about running, or separate areas for younger children would make it much safer. I was also disappointed with the condition of the toilets. One toilet was missing a toilet seat and another had no toilet paper available. For a venue aimed at families and children visiting an inflatable park or soft play, I would expect the facilities to be clean and properly maintained. Because of the safety concerns and the condition of the facilities, I wouldn’t currently feel comfortable returning. I have also contacted the venue directly with my concerns and hope they will address the safety issues and improve the facilities for future visitors.
As you do during the holidays, boredom eventually strikes — and suddenly you’re on a mission to entertain the kids (and, let’s be honest, buy yourself a bit of peace of mind). After a quick Google search, Jumpin Fun Inflatable Park in Burgess Hill popped up as a potential hero… and it absolutely delivered. We booked online in advance, not quite sure what to expect. Our group included kids ranging from 2 to 15 years old — although I think it’s fair to say the adults may have had even more fun than the children! The inflatable area is brilliant, with loads to do, and everything was genuinely great fun. We went a few hours before closing and ended up with plenty of space to ourselves, which made the experience even better. The park was relatively clean, well organised, and fairly priced — always a win. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and we’d definitely come back again. Highly recommended for families… and competitive adults who secretly love inflatables just as much as the kids. 😄
Great place to take the kids. There are just two small things I’d improve. First, the lockers only take £1 coins. I didn’t have any change and had to queue for about 10 minutes at the upstairs café to get some. A change machine downstairs, or having change available near the lockers, would make this much easier. (My fault, next time I’ll have change) Second, the sessions all seem to start and finish at the same time. With limited parking, this causes a lot of congestion both outside on the road and inside around the lockers. Slightly staggering the start and finish times would really help reduce the chaos. That said, all the staff were really friendly and the place felt very clean. We stayed for lunch after the session and the food was really nice too. My 6- and 7-year-old both loved the play area and said it’s their favourite place. We can’t wait to take them again.
