Wow, wow, wow. A small but mighty display!! The grandchildren, (and grandparents), were absolutely amazed by the "moving dinosaurs" in the displays. There's a lot of dinosaur noises too which made it seem more realistic. Once through the indoor display you then move into the garden/picnic area, complete with a dinosaur dig area. The grandchildren loved digging in the sand for dinosaur bones. We combined our entrance tickets with the Seaton Tramway tickets and rode the trams before entering the jurassic display. It was a fantastic day out and all the staff from both establishments were extremely friendly and helpful and the jurassic discovery staff were amazing with our grandchildren, taking time to talk to them and have a laugh. Highly recommend this little gem and cant wait to go again when they change their displays. We paid on the door but if you're going to do the soft play then you need to book a time in advance

During the June 2026 heat wave my mum and I took the Seaton tram way from Colyton to Seaton, when we got off we saw the Jurassic Discovery, and as my mum has low mobility and can’t really wander the coast line we thought it’s a good opportunity to do something Jurassic coast related. It was really fun the dinosaurs are great and the staff are lovely and friendly. After the exhibit we had a lovely drink in the cafe.

A small and very cosy museum ! You can also get the indoor play area but needs pre-booking. Definitely a must once in Seaton! And the best part ! You can buy a bundle of Jurassic Discovery and Seaton Tram ! Bargain ! Amazing staff, great place to explore, especially for our little explorers. They also have a fossils dogging area ! Oh, and the souvenirs are so cheap !!! Great job !

Expensive for what it is. Anamatronics were good though. My son enjoyed it. Just needs to bigger. Or at a lower price. Took us 20 minutes to walk through and that included going in the gift shop. Just not worth the price. Which is a shame.
