We have a young aon (15) 90 kg 6'2" and struggles to do the things he likes because most people do not understand what it is to be him. Unable to speak and with learning difficulties, pertrified of dogs he cannot seem to go anywhere but on the sea and rivers to escape his struggles and have fun like any son or daughter. Karting North East went the extra mile and created a memory we will never forget. Booking a session before the track was open to the general public was a great help. See the photos we had a track to ourselves. How did we manage the experience?, the dual steer kart gave our son the experience he wanted as he joined the thrill of speed, cornering and braking at the last minute to stay on the circuit. When his dad was by his side giving him the assurance and confidence he needed. With a 67 cm head there was only one helmet in the stores that fitted, which was a miracle itself XXXXL. We had the best time for 30 minutes, uninterrupted fun. The staff are amazing, tolerant and very aware of people with SEN. We cannot wait to go back and have another special day and doing things that everyone else takes for granted. Well done everyone and if you know anyone who struggles with life go and meet the team here they will make your day. 😀😀😀 ... and the track, coffee, hot snacks, karts, safety equipment, PPE, parking and disabled facilities were excellent 👍

Had a brilliant experience at Karting North East. Excellent value for money and really well organised from start to finish. My 9-year-old was absolutely devastated when he wasn’t tall enough to drive at Newcastle Karting, so we travelled through to Sunderland where he met the height requirement — and it was completely worth it. The whole experience was fast, exciting and great fun, but still felt very safe and well managed throughout. The staff were friendly, organised and explained everything clearly which really helped build confidence. Would definitely come back again.

Brilliant we had the best day together. The pre brief was great and a definite must. The staff on entrance organised and the lad that did the pre race training etc was very good. Lots of track time. Lovely surprise at the end my son was well chuffed. We will definitely will go back.

One of the best circuits in the country, run by an amazing team. If it wasn't over 300 miles from home I would be there for more regularly. From a wide range of events to take part in (karting, paintball, and a trials course for those with their own bikes) the venue is well presented, well run and well worth the money.
