Took our 4 and 7 year old here during the summer holidays. It is a lovely quiet spot run by enthusiastic and informative volunteers who were so welcoming to us all. The kids loved the tour of the machinery and learning about the local geology. Cost is really reasonable given the lovely experience

Mark gave us an amazing tour today; nearly 2 hours! Very fascinating insite and amazing knowledge. Loved the demos and artifacts they have here. Would highly recommend this.

Interesting guide. Display boards are worth reading. More to tin mining than you think! Nice gift shop with goods fairly priced. Cafe small but clean and tidy with good service.

Really fascinating! Such a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide (they are all volunteers) Mining has been such a big part of Cornwall's history for thousands of years, we felt we understood so much more about the area after our visit. Wonderful to see the old machinery, much of it in working order and running. And a jolly good cafe!
