I use to walk King's Woods as a child,my family rode horses here for many years. My mother worked tirelessly collecting pledges to purchase the woodsonbehalf of The Woodland Trust.

Kings Wood is such a beautiful spot for a wander. The woodland is well maintained, peaceful, and full of little paths to explore. It’s the perfect place to stretch your legs and enjoy nature. Our dog had the best time exploring off-lead, running between the trees, and generally living his best life. A real gem of a walk that’s great for both people and pups.

A very tranquil walk from St Austell to Pentewan alongside the river St Austell. Beautiful walk along flat and easy walking ground, ideal for dog walkers. In Pentewan, there is a pub and some cafes, as well as a lovely beach too

Beautiful mixed woodland for wonderful walks. Dog friendly but no bins so please take rubbish home. There are two entrances into the wood, some of the woodland tracks are steep but the main paths are easy/moderate with some far reaching views. There is a small free car park, no picnic tables or toilets.

Lovely walk in the woods. The Woodland Trust have done a good job in paths around this lovely part of the valley for people to enjoy. Great for dog walkers, kids on bikes even come across a horse rider. Car parking available. Highly recommended.
