Lovely big park, didnt realise how big and beautiful this park was, will be visiting more often now! Kids play area is really good too, 3 different areas next to one another with each being for certain ages.

We spent 4.5 hours here (10:30am-3pm) and honestly could have stayed even longer! Free car park off Palmerston Road with plenty of spaces. A short 5-minute walk along good paths (great for pushchairs and scooters) brings you to the main playground, passing an outdoor adult gym on the way. The playground has something for every age - a small sensory playground for little ones, plus swings (including accessible), climbing frames, a roundabout, seesaw, spinning and springy equipment, a rope spinning feature, slide, large sandpit, and a wooden/metal train kids can climb on and around. Toilet block on site with a defibrillator outside (confirmed open and in use), plus a second defibrillator near the sensory garden. Beyond the playground: huge open fields, a 3-hole FootGolf area (bring your own ball), bookable tennis courts, a table tennis table, a basketball hoop, a sensory garden with sundial, and a lovely "happy to chat" bench. Loads of picnic spots and benches throughout, plus an ice cream van and (we're told) a weekend coffee van. One thing to note: there's no gate between the park and the car park, so keep little ones close on the way back. Suitable for all ages, with something for everyone. My 5-year-old's verdict: "Good, good, good, good!" We'll be back.

Fantastic park that will have everything you could ever want from any park. Great for dogs , families and walkers. Easily spend a few hours here exploring beautiful gardens and beautiful landscapes. Has a stream- brook going through it which is a delight for dogs to cool off on a hot day. Good toilets! There is a lovely Welshman serving coffee of a good standard from a van. People are lovely and friendly and to me this is the best park in Leicestershire so far as it has dog heaven but also children’s heaven with three swing areas. Well done the gardeners. In a very sad England at the moment with so many haters this is community at its best.😊
