A bit of a tough dog walk as there were so many cows around so we had to be strategic. The little canal is lovely, although I thought it was bigger, there's no part that I saw which could take a boat 😊

nice Country Park. Good paths, fields and woods and a nice way to by pass the busy stoke road on a circular walk. Good views over Leek.

Enjoyed a nice walk through the hills at this place - signposted slightly oddly from one direction as the sign is beyond the entrance, but we managed to find it in the end and walked to the top of the hill to be rewarded with an excellent view. There was one slightly odd track that took us down the back of people's gardens, was very overgrown and then got to a part that was completely blocked by one person's fence, so we had to turn around and go back. Not sure why the entrance to that is still available as I would've thought it'd be better to block that part as well, or at least put up a sign!
