On-site cafe offering food and beverages to visitors during their cat cafe experience
Lovely cosy afternoon with adorable well cared for cats and attentive well informed team, lots of nice interactions with the cats (Little Prince stole our hearts!) and delicious (human) food. We booked for 12 noon on a Saturday and were excited to witness a fun feeding time soon after we arrived! We also saw a nice surprise/effort made by the cafe for a fellow cafe goer's birthday. Side note, the ambient film soundtrack music choices were enjoyable, quite epic at times (LOTR, Interstellar etc) maybe some Studio Ghibli would be a good addition if cat-friendly enough and not played already? My friend and I both had a great time thank you! 😺
Having been to previous location , was excited to hear they had a new location. Visited with friends. Relaxing atmosphere, lovely time . 7 cats in total. While less than previous, you could tell the cats were well looked after and very settled. Good array of cat related activities inside. Indoor and outdoor seating . Well presented and good selection of food for humans . Staff happy to be asked any questions . Would recommend a visit
Great experience today at Lady Dinah's! All the cats were very active and playful. I love the layout with the garden - much better than the old layout I would say. We will definitely be back! ❤️
Lovely cats, clearly well looked after and it’s a good thing that such places exist to give them a better life and ultimately new homes. That said, the cafe experience was a little underwhelming - I think the layout of the relatively small inside room in the Greenwich location, including the positioning of tables and chairs, wasn’t especially relaxing, and (again noting it’s for the benefit of the cats) the entrance fee is quite high relative to alternatives, esp where it doesn’t include a drink. So definitely good to visit once and help support the cats, but not overly incentivised to visit again.
My mum and I visited this café during our holiday in London. From the outside, the café looks lovely and welcoming, so my mum and I were really looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to our expectations. The first thing that made us uncomfortable was the hygiene procedure before entering. We completely understand why visitors are asked to wash their hands before interacting with the cats, but after washing them we were told to dry them using the same damp towel that had clearly been used by many visitors before us and would be used by many after us. We understand that this is part of the café’s policy, but in our opinion it felt quite unhygienic and gave us a poor first impression. Inside, the café felt untidy and not as clean as we expected. The interaction with the cats was also very limited, which was disappointing because that was the main reason we visited. We also ordered a scone, but unfortunately it arrived undercooked. The staff were polite and friendly, but that wasn’t enough to make up for it. Overall, we left feeling that we had paid for an experience that simply wasn’t worth the money.
