Always a great time here. Plenty of parking, all the facilities you might need and the staff are always helpful and friendly.

This week I have used Lake 86 for swimming and kayaking, whilst visiting family. Lake 86 is lovely with a really relaxed atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. The coffee hut serves tasty coffee and crepes. Family friendly but also really nice to go for a swim on your own. I have really enjoyed coming to the lake all this week and I will come back during the summer when visiting my family again. The facilities are clean and excellent.

We loved the stand up paddleboarding here, beautiful lake and lovely cafe that serves crepes and ice creams. I didn't find the website terribly helpful which is why 4 stars not 5 but everything else was great. Would definitely return.

My friends and I hired two rafts for my friend's hen on Saturday and honestly had the BEST time! The staff were SO friendly and really went above and beyond to be accomodating. The lake is absolutely beautiful! The activity was easy and the rafts are sturdy so it isn't easy to fall in, unless you want to! Couldn't recommend more highly.

Easy to book paddle board hire online. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Gave us a quick refresher before we got on the board. The lake was beautiful, there were changing and toilet facilities and a coffee shop near by that sold cold drinks and ice-cream as well.
