Lovely place to walk and bird watch. There is also a nice playpark. There is a car park but it does get busy at weekends and school holidays so best arrive early or tea time. There is a small pitch and put next to the train station. There is a lovely cafe or bring a picnic as long as you dont feed the geese or they will mob you 😂

Great if you and/or family loves trains. Easy walks around the track, the lakes and though the woods. Toilets, cafe and parking. A park for the kids as well. Lovely place to spend a few hours.

This place is nice enough, and the free car park is a bonus, but it’s such a shame that swimming isn’t allowed. We haven’t been able to find any proper freshwater swimming spots in Dorset — it feels like the only option is the sea, which is a little disappointing.

My daughter and I were there a few weeks ago. Today is Saturday, so we'll visit this park again. It's a delightful place.

We passed by this place and found it very natural 🦢 and peaceful, perfect for a walk. 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ My husband and I really like it here, but it would be even better if there were an open café to grab some drinks or a drink vending machine.
