Great location and facilities - although pool not the cleanest nor the toilets. That being said for the cost of the car parking it's a pretty good day out. Plenty of shade if you want it. A little shop that won't cost the earth, it's not cheap but they're also not taking the micky.

Lammas land is a hidden jewel in Cambridgeshire. The pool is a decent size and even has a shallower end, which is great for smaller children. The prices from the cafe are reasonably priced, considering the pool is free of charge! You can buy inflatables there or bring your own, and there is plenty of green space to set up camp, relax and enjoy the sunshine. There is space around the pool, but this is limited so you'll need to arrive early to nab a spot. I have missed off one star due to the toilets. Now although it is great somewhere like this has toilets, they were not pleasant. Still, can't complain when you get to enjoy an outdoor pool for free!

Lammas Land paddling pool is one of those gloriously British places that looks like it was built some time ago, but in fact is older than it looks. It was built in the 1920s as a community bathing spot and still uses river water filtered through the Cam’s old sluice system. No surprise there were no bathers when I was there in October but its a pleasant spot on the walk to Grantchester and the walls of the toilet block are cheerfully decorated with local children’s artwork. The toilets themselves have oddly narrow doors.

I am extremely disappointed with this outdoor kids swimming pool. The area was horribly dirty, with rubbish scattered all around, making it an unpleasant and unsafe environment. The pool itself was filthy and clearly not maintained. After swimming, my little one fell ill, undoubtedly picking up some bugs from the unhygienic conditions. This place is a health hazard and should be avoided at all costs.

Beautiful place lovely pool. Lovely hut selling ice cream and drinks. The only let down were the toilets they were not nice only 2 were open and both were blocked and think someone needs to improve this.
