A lovely Nature Reserve in the edge of the South Downs National Park. Great for walks with views to Brighton, Isle of Wight, Cissbury Ring & out towards Hassocks and the Weald. Popular with dog owners, walkers and people enjoying sunrises or sunsets, bird song, butterflies, wild flowers. No charges & no facilities, nature at its best.

Lancing Ring has a good-sized car park So, it's not usually a problem to park from the car park you can walk in several directions . The ring has a dew pond and woods, unfunfortunately the woods have been hit by Ash die back so not at there best but still lovely. Would not be suitable for wheelchair users, but perfect for child adventures and the more adventurous walker on to the South downs.

Enjoyed a good walk from Lancing Ring, across the fields with the impressive Lancing College and Adur Valley in view. To Coombe Church, along the River Adur and back.

Lively little beginner stomp route on the downs, recommend to start south west bound and end on the hill. Great vistas, big skies, green fields, silent countryside vibes!

Nioce place to walk the dog and escape the classic hustle and bustle. Good walks just follow the path round. Also theres bike track that goes further north up to Chanctonbury ring. Check it out if you like the outdoors. What av you got to lose... especially in lockdown!
